The PADI Rescue Diver course takes your diving beyond looking after yourself and teaches you how to recognize, prevent, and respond to problems involving other divers.
Through hands-on training and realistic rescue scenarios, you’ll develop the skills and confidence to manage diving emergencies both at the surface and underwater.

Learn to recognize problems before the become emergencies.
Rescue Diver training changes the way you think underwater. You’ll learn to pay greater attention to other divers, recognize potential problems, and respond effectively when assistance is needed.
Training includes self-rescue, assisting tired and panicked divers, emergency management, missing-diver procedures, and responding to unresponsive divers.
You’ll practice these skills through hands-on exercises and realistic rescue scenarios, building the judgment and confidence needed to become a stronger dive buddy.

Complete your required Rescue Diver and Emergency First Response coursework before beginning your in-water trainning.
Practice self-rescue, emergency management, search techniques, and rescue procedures.
Complete realistic rescue scenarios that combine your skills, decision-making, and teamwork to earn your PADI Rescue Diver certification.

Complete Emergency First Response and Emergency Oxygen Provider training, rescue skill development, and realistic rescue scenarios. n

READY FOR RESCUE
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification or qualifying certification from another recognized training agency. Current CPR and First aid is required and included in the course. Minimum age 12.
