Discover Scuba Diving

Discover Scuba Diving is the perfect way to experience scuba for the first time—no certification required.

You’ll begin with a short PADI eLearning program that must be completed before your dive. Once you arrive, one of our experienced PADI Instructors will introduce you to the equipment, review important safety information, and teach you the basic skills needed to dive comfortably.

After practicing a few skills in calm, shallow water, it’s time to explore! Your instructor will lead you on a guided underwater tour of one of South Maui’s beautiful reefs.

With a maximum of four divers per instructor and all scuba equipment included, you can relax and enjoy your first underwater adventure.

HOW YOUR EXPERIENCE WORKS

1 — COMPLETE YOUR ELEARNING

Complete the short PADI Discover Scuba Diving eLearning program before arriving for your dive.

2 — MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Meet us at Maui Dreams Dive Co. at 7:00 AM. We’ll get you fitted with your scuba equipment and review what to expect.

3 — LEARN THE BASICS

At the dive site, your instructor will provide a safety briefing and teach you the basic skills you’ll need before heading underwater.

4 — GO DIVING!

Once you’re comfortable, your instructor will lead you on a guided dive along one of Maui’s beautiful reefs.

BEFORE YOUR DIVE

MINIMUM AGE

10 years old

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

None. No previous scuba certification or diving experience is necessary. MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM!

ELEARNING

The required PADI Discover Scuba Diving eLearning must be completed before arriving for your dive.

DURATION

Approximately 4–6 hours, depending on whether you choose one or two dives.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Professional PADI instruction and all necessary scuba equipment.

TRANSPORTATION

Participants are responsible for transportation to and from the shop and dive site.
